Bride: ‘Yeah I thought this would be a great place for the speeches because there’s loads of natural light coming down from the barn doors’
Me: *Wants to cry with happiness* ^_^
For any photographers reading this, you HAVE to agree with me that there is nothing that could make you happier than the couple even remotely thinking about the quality of light for during the wedding. And blimey, were Rachel & Fergal absolutely spot on.
Old Greens Barn had the most beautifully rustic vibe, and just as Rachel explained to me at the pre wedding shoot, the top table for the speeches faced the open barn doors and had the most lovely natural light. Not to mention the gorgeous wooden beams and general boho/vintage-ness throughout the whole venue. We were absolutely spoilt for choice of settings for our couple and group shots – my particular favourite being the outdoor space by all the old agricultural buildings, which that country feel that I am obsessed with!!
There was just so much going on at this wedding and SO much to photograph – from the moment I stepped into Rachel’s parents’ country collage for the bridal prep, to late into the evening when a LOT of moves had been thrown. Rachel & Fergal are so easy to get along with, and are clearly an adored pair by all their many friends and family.
I have attempted to cull down the images from over 1000 to give you a more brief story of the day, but it was very difficult!
Big love to these two ❤
